But part of me understands why he would leave.<div>
</div><div>Hopefully, he does truly believe that he can build Mississippi State into a great program. There's no reason why we can't be a large force in the SEC year after year after year. Of course, every program has off years, but there's no reason we can't be just as good, and better, than Arkansas, Auburn, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Georgia and compete with Florida, Bama and LSU on a yearly basis.</div><div>
</div><div>MSU has proven that we have the ability to play with any team in the NCAA, and we are only in year two after we were "Croomed." There's talent in Mississippi, no doubt about that, and the better we get, the more good kids we get from Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas and Florida. Yes, we are usually 2nd, 3rd and 4th in line from schools like Alabama and Florida, but kids are noticing that they can come to MSU, prove the potential that they have, and play on an extremely talented team and be coached byarguablythe best coaching staff in the SEC.</div><div>
</div><div>I guess we'll see what happens very, very soon.</div><div>
</div><div>Regardless of what happens, Dan Mullen, Manny Diaz, Scott Stricklin and Mark Keenum has given us the "blueprint" for success. They've put people in seats, they're improving every aspect of our program, so we are going to continue to improve. </div><div>
