He is such a great recruiter, I would hate to lose him. Guess all out speculator/posters wont need to wonder where he is going next year. He will be right in Starkville for quite a while.

Yea, let's extend his contract and give him a raise. The problem is he is not paid enough.

he's getting his *** handed to him and I'm sure he knows why... if he didn't learn any lessons last Feb, then it will show... if he can't turn the recruiting thing around, then I'll become worried... it's all on him this Feb.. he's the one that put his own *** on the line talking ****.. time to back it up Dan...time to back it up.. you said it first.. straight from your mouth... cash the check your mouth wrote...

you "stars don't matter" folks are dumbasses btw....

..somebody has to coach that mythical good haul.

This team has been dead since the opening kick-off of the Auburn game.

That ****** attitude & lack of fire to play the game the right way is all on the $2.5 million wonder boy.

and good hauls are not mythical... our makeshift OL is being abused by better defenses...they are not in sync and I'd be willing to bet that has a lot to do with the play calling right now.. we simply do not have the talent up front right now.. I was hoping balis being above avg could build them up and cover up our recruiting deficiencies but it just ain't enough....

not going to happen overnight the way we hoped for... I know this **** is pitiful and surprising but it is what it is.. we have a good coach... but put some players on the roster and things will improve.. the question is whether he and the organizaiton are up for the task...

He has generated far more than $2.5 million for the athletic department in season ticket sales alone, not to mention increased merchandise sales, donations, etc., etc.

He's earned his salary this year.....but he will need to produce some wins for that revenue to keep piling up.

Truly one of the dumbest posts I've seen here in years and that is an achievement.
Dans problem is recruiting. We've been soundly outrecruited/outbid over the past two years. If we want better results, will need to up the ante.
Dan is a good field coach. Needs sec caliber players, though. We don't have enough.
