I really thought Tyler Russell was gonna have a legit shot to redshirt this year, but like you said, the comments after each practice from Mullen are getting worse and worse. I think some of the depth problems will be solved once we get some of the freshman in here, but the fact that we are so depleted right now really makes me pissed at Croom. We might play the most freshman out of all of the other SEC teams next year.

but ****, an SEC program should pretty much never be in the situation we're in currently. Honestly, it would be a medium sized miracle if we win 6 games next season. We're just going to be so damn young it's ridiculous.

Well lets figure it out. Gotta start with Tyler Russell. Then Bumphis and Chris Smith. Also LaDarius Perkins. Then you could add Mardrecas Hood and possibly Brandon Heavens to that mix. Also Cameron Lawrence, Johnathan Banks, possibly Fletcher Cox, maybe Josh Boyd, and Dennis Thames. Also if Billy Hamilton sticks with football and shows he can play, he might get some time at CB. I count 12 that I think have at least some chance to play this year. Thats alot of freshman. And if you want to, you can count Pernell and Chris White into that mix since they didnt play here last year. Thats alot of new, young faces.

I would love for him to redshirt but it won't happen if these guys don't improve. T Lee is trying his *** off but he just doesn't have the physical tools to pull it off. If the guy was 6'4 220 he wouldn't be at MSU but as is he is struggling so far.</p>

I think Billy is an exceptional athlete and hands down the sleeper of our signing class. How often does someone make all-state in each of the big three sports? I can't think of anyone else who's done that. With that said, I doubt he'll ever make it to campus.

Thats why I added him to the list of possible freshman to play next year. I've heard he is just overall a very physically gifted person that goes out there and does whatever his team needs. With the situation Mullen is in, that's the type of person we could really use.
