This sounds better for us than the one after Freeze's visit, of course.

http://mississippistate.247sports.c...o-Moore-talks-of-visit-with-Dan-Mullen-105381

"I am going to see State and Ole Miss in January," said Moore. "But I am very solid with Mississippi State and that's where I am going to be. We didn't even talk about Ole Miss when I met with Coach Mullen and I told him my feelings have not changed. I am going to keep on recruiting for Mississippi State and I am working hard on (2013 prospect) Tony Conner (of South Panola). We want to go to the same college and I want to get him to Mississippi State with me."

I love recruiting ********. Hey, klucks, in case you can't read the message, it's "you better tend to keeping Tony Conner and stop fooling around with Moore."

Classic diversion of resources.

All the BS that these Ole Miss leaning "recruitnics" spit out is not going to sway these recruits in their direction. If anything, it will have the opposite effact on their class. Yes. I think Ole Miss will end up having a little better recruiting class than us this year. In no way will I ever let their nonsense about Kalio convince me that he will end up at Ole Miss. I also think we are more than an outside shot for Conner.

Moore has some talent and a helluva lot of speed. He would absolutely be a great bonus for this class. But I'm confused as to why so much emphasis is put on this one player.

For the short term- these big 4 and 5-star guys Brewster is getting to visit are what I'm hoping for. Those are huge impact guys.

Why do I envision Robert Elliot’s recruitment 2.0 taking place?

I mean, we still have some of the same players involved - Freeze, Melvin, Mean Gene. Maybe this time Mary Ann Swindoll will take a swing at Matt Luke at a Rosedale diner...

Or, maybe you should tend to keeping Moore and stop fooling around with Conner. The peer-to-peer recruiting can go both ways...

No I think his logic works better here...

We have a guy committed to us and are trying to get a guy who is uncommitted...

You all are recruiting a guy committed somewhere else and not going all in to get an uncommitted guy.

But why worry when Robert Nkemdiche and Treadwell are locked up....

Well I would think its because he is one of our higher rated commitments....

with a ton of speed and potential in Mullen's offense if used the right way. We always talk about having a Percy Harvin type player and even tried to put that lable on Chad Bumphis. Well Bumphis didn't have the speed to be that kind of player but from what I read maybe Moore does. It won't be any kind of program killer if we lose him but it would definitely sting. I mean it already looks like we are going to lose our big time QB recruit so losing Moore would not help matters. And as far as these 4 and 5 star guys that we are getting to visit, that's great and all but give me a call when one of them commits. Until then its all pie in the sky. Moore, on the other hand, we have a verbal from.

It's simply because we are going head to head with Freeze over a top recruit in MS. Some of our fans can't see past that to understand that with or without him this is a pretty good class and there are more important players we are still after.

Nailed it.

There is much, much too great an emphasis by our fanbase on this one player. It's to the point that many here are going to call our class a success or failure simply on the ability to keep Moore, which is absolutely ridiculous...

I will donate $100 to SPS if Conner and Kailo end up dawgs, but only if you'd give Nafoom $50 if both end up Rebs.

Edit: Deal?

And let me add

This is a player that comes from an Ole Miss family. Ole Miss hates to lose players like that with a passion. It's not good for the press conference. See Peyton Manning.

Personally, I'd love to have the guy. We need speed at both the WR and RB positions.
