@coachdanmullen
Need to see all the bulldogs get behind our hoops team and fill the hump on Saturday. When you play with <s style="text-decoration: none; color: rgb(208, 214, 216); ">#</s>relentlesseffort wins will come.

Dan obviously wants our crowd at Saturday's basketball game to be loud and possibly orchestrated for recruits. We have no excuse, just pretend that Saturday's basketball game is a football game.

Hopefully, we have learned, and now maybe we can make a difference. Depends on how much we care, I guess. I really hope OM's fans don't care more than ours.

It sure would be nice to have a good crowd on hand for the recruits, plus this is one of the few winnable games left.

There will also be some rising juniors on campus this weekend. Really need a good crowd at the game. I know it won't be 8 or 9 K but you students need to show up and give the recruits and juniors something to remember

Sure would be nice for some of our students to make signs with the recruits names and then kick Bracky in the nuts if he tries to stop it.

Ah would have to play really well. LSU just beat Missouri a couple nights ago.

I don't remember which one it was, names on signs or maybe it was announcing names over the basketball PA system, but I do remember Arkansas getting a slap on the wrist for doing that 2 or 3 years ago. Not saying it isn't worth doing it anyway. Not a major deal.

If football season was any indication, there won't be many students there. I hope they prove me wrong but this years student section was a complete joke. They would rather sit in their dorm rooms than support their school this year.

I couldn't find a soul to go with me last Wednesday to the A&M game, so I ended up going by myself.

I completely agree with you, but I want to point out that the student section is the fullest section in the hump, and that's with numerous students wandering over to center court and plopping down in open seats.

The same people who came to see us play Terrible Low-Tier U in December last year, obviously people who live near by, have tickets, and can make the games... Aren't coming.

I apologize for my fellow students, but the alumni attendance is even worse. I remember going to go to Hornets games as a kid and they've always been garbage, but I enjoyed going for the atmosphere. The same applies here. And this season has been awesome to watch - maybe not W/L wise - but if you can't enjoy watching you don't like the sport of basketball. It's refreshing watching the game not expecting anything and doing well than watching a latter Stans team and expecting the world and seeing a turd of a product, losing to FAU.

Most of the assistant football coaches and a ton, A TON, of football players come to every game. At least 20-25 of them. They show up and actually have **** to do, so no one has an excuse.

This is also the basketball reunion weekend with over 50 former players coming back. I like this idea to involve former players in the program.

Exactly my thoughts.

He's right, when you play with #relentlesseffort the wins come. When you play with #halfassedeffort ala #A&M #Bama #OleMiss you get #blownout. #hashtags

I'll make a deal with anyone willing. If you have 4-5 tickets you aren't using for ANY weekend game, I'll take them and fill the seats for you. PM me.

How much are tickets now? With it being a Saturday, hopefully people can make the trip. If I lived within an hour of Starkville I would be there.

I must admit that when I lived close I took a casual approach to attending or not. Since I've moved away, I regret all the great games I missed by my own foolish choice.

I remember why Willie Morris said he loved Oxford: "SEC football, baseball, and basketball." He didn't add to that. He said it as though it was a big enough deal to speak for itself.

I love Dan Mullen...

..sure, I have bashed ole Dan here many times, but I love this guy. He is asking you to support the basketball team because Dan wants all sports team @ MSU to be winners. Props to Dan. Dan may be of inappropriate regional birth, but he's "my boy."
