I'm shocked he resigned. I envy the resolve of current democrats. The GOP (which mostly sucks now) simply doesn't have the spine. They are too worried about getting ratio'ed on Twitter.

If they're worried about it, they still do a plenty good job piling up the ratio's. Democrats resign far more often than gop politicians in similar predicaments. The only one in recent memory who made it out alive was Ralph Northam in VA.

I'm not at all shocked Cuomo resigned, his position had become untenable. And it's hilariously quaint he gave a 2 weeks notice.
