Perhaps the network told Bama to roll over. Even up the series and make it more compelling for next years battle.

ya so basically, two high school seniors thrashed the #1 team in the country. very impressive win for Clemson. they won all facets of the game.
ok, so say two 19yr olds thrashed the #1 team in the country. very impressive. and the most important aspect nobody is talking about. the seniors that came back to play this game for this reason. instead of foregoing their sr year and opting to nfl, they came back with a purpose.
now their stock has just gone up.
Clemson was the best team in the country going into last night. They were the best team during last nights game and they are the best team now.

Even the odds makers were wrong. This wasn’t a great Bama team for sure. Big Clemson was better. Don’t care what the spread says the eye test was all that mattered and they proved it last night.
Because sports gamblers are idiots.
Sports odds are nothing but the equilibrium at which 1/2 of the money laid will go one way and 1/2 the other.
