#1 the game is @Franklin and Franklin are notoriously difficult to beat at the Pit. They've beat multiple Murphy teams that were more talented than them on paper over there since Brooks has been coach.
#2 Franklin improved quite a bit over the course of the spring season and they seem to have carried that over into the fall with their showing in 7 on 7's this summer and in their scrimmage. Franklin brought back almost all their skill people and a large chunk of their defense from the spring, so they were bound to be better this fall.
I think this game could be tight most of the night with Murphy pulling away in the 4th Q thanks to their superior line and depth. I do have real concerns about Murphy at the corner spot opposite Allen. The kid they have there has never played football before and as a result he's very raw. Franklin picked on him bad at the 7 on 7 and I imagine Franklin will look to do the same Friday night.
