I remember coming up to Murphy and all you heard was 1st and ten Bulldogs in your sleep. He is awesome!
He does a great job!
We heard that over and over in the 2001 playoff game in which we lost. Our fans got revenge in 2002 when we were beating them pretty good and our fans chanted several times “First and ten…RAMS!!”

Weren't the scores nearly identical those two games with the opposite team winning?

Actually it was Murphy 42 Starmount 13 in 2001. The Rams did a little better in that one than you remembered. The 2002 score of Starmount 38-12 is spot on.
Can you believe those games were played more than 20 years ago??? It feels like last week. Where does time go?
I have been to Murphy many times love this guy!! Does a great job and has been a fixture at games there in Murphy for years if you have never heard him you should its amazing!! Congratulations!!
Sadly, I must report that JR has passed away. Prayers for his family.
Terrible news. There are just no words. JR was awesome. One of a kind. Friday nights on the Hill will never be the same again. RIP JR. I know you will be watching from above.
