The SEC has rules the BCS, not FSU. They won it this year.. Congrats and all, but his statement was ridiculous..
FSU is 2-2 in the BCS Championship game. The SEC is 9-2...

He was the biggest homer for the Seminoles last night.

I was thinking the same thing but lets face it everyone outside the SEC including much of the media have been waiting for this day for years and now they could not be happier.

Not a ridiculous statement at all.....

FSU is the BCS national champion. So for this year, figuratively speaking, they are the team that 'rules' the BCS. Comparing a 14 team conference (SEC) to an individual team is really not a relevant comparison. One could correctly say that the SEC has dominated the BCS and might even say the SEC rules the BCS in comparison with the other conferences but, for this season, the individual team that rules the BCS is indeed FSU.

I don't think I'd put too much stock into what he says at any time. He introduced himself as Kirk Herbstreit last night in the first 15 seconds of the broadcast.
