I dont think its us. He is like a damn peacock though, it just depends on who has the ball when he wants to strut

I just cannot see how Woodard with those stone hands is even on the NBA radar. The lack of focus standing under the goal is unfathomable.

Playing defense and finding their shooters instead of putting up prayer 🙏 hoping they miss might actually help to. Every time we scored, in the last 4 minutes, they scored on the other end and then when we missed they also scored and got fouled.

We would have been better off fouling them every trip and getting us more possessions.

We unfortunately don’t have any 3 point shooters. That is killing us this season.

Just because we don’t shoot 3’s all that great doesn’t mean we had to give up a 24-2 run in the first half. Just like TBone said, game was over at that point. You can’t play that poorly for that long of a stretch in any must win game for a tourney at-large spot.

Too much talent to be living like this.

Do not know how you fix it in-game though. Sucks to lose. Glad I got to see them one more time in person.

I honestly have had a hard time watching this team live all year. There is a lot of talent, but they simply do not value possessions and their lapses on D absolutely cost them games. Those seemingly little things make them a very individually talented NIT caliber team.

It was a 2 point game at the half. That not true at all.

Say what you want but USCE played ball tonight. Aggressive d. Battles through foul calls but never changes defensive aggressiveness. Maybe they keep being physical until refs get tired of calling it.
Not saying the refs are the only reason but I do think they keep playing the same way no matter the calls.

Man I got to admire your positivity. I suspect this team will lose the 1st game they play in Nashville. Then Reggie Perry will sit out the NIT to get ready for the NBA.

I didn’t say they would get two Q1 wins, just that they need them.

I think this has 2010 written all over it. We get knocked out by Kentucky in a heartbreaker Saturday and then are an NIT one or two seed.

And it would have been us up by 15 and cruising to a victory if we didn’t hit that big of a dry spell in the middle of the first half. We outplayed them for probably 33 of the 40 minutes tonight and still lost by 12. That’s how damaging that run was. You can’t let a team light you up to the tune of 24-2., at any point in the game, and expect to win on the road in the SEC. It will never happen.
