Auburn is getting a little touchy now about the possibility of being the first 0-14 football team in NCAA history. If it wasn't for the Auburn moneymen, they'd be fighting UAB, Troy, and Jacksonville St. for recruits.

1) the NCAA tightened up JUCO transfer rules. Most likely, because Sherrill was having success with these mercenaries and the big boys didn't like that.

2)The big schools realized that a good JUCO transfer could make the difference in a Championship season...think of whatwould've happened if Terrance Codyand Cam Newton were on the same team atState.
