So desperate to catch up to a dominant Mississippi State University, the university of ole miss has sold its soul to try to attain what it can never get- a Championship season.
Their boosters spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on Private Eyes trying to destroy the Mississippi State Program, only to find that a coach congratulated a high school player on a good game, and a few other minor things. Their preachers profane the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their pursuit of football Mammon....they have their reward in full.
The university of ole miss needs to re-think its mission. Perhaps it should drop its attempts at playing major college sports, and try to re-build its shattered reputation as a University. Then, perhaps, they can try sports again on the Club level. After that, maybe the Gulf South Conference might take them as a rival to Delta State (who lost their rivalry with Mississippi College several years back).
