MV vs Jefferson Forest

I heard this will be a 2nd week match-up next year.. Should be interesting. Both schools loaded with underclassmen this year. Does anyone know the rest of MV non-district opponents?

From what I understand, Byrd was taken off and JF was added. I also heard that McMichael, NC will be taken off and I don't know who will replace them. I'm thinking Dan River will remain. That makes up the non-district opponents. All 7 other games are Piedmont District opponents.

Much respect to the champs for padding their schedule with competition. It's a shame that MV and GW have to play Patrick County. Four high quality non-district opponents with the remaining schedule being teams out of the Piedmont would do wonders with points come playoff time for the Warriors and Eagles.

It's like the RRD having to play Carroll County. They haven't won a district game since they were put in the district. I don't think they wanted to be in the district anymore than anyone in the district wanted to play them.

Exactly! I have no doubts that Andrew Lewis Middle School could probably beat Carroll and have a running clock throughout the second half!

I drove by CC's practice field about 2 or 3 years ago. It looked like they had all offensive linemen and no skill players.
