I thought the refs were bad all around. The no-call late on the jump ball was pretty egregious, though. Even still, Gonzaga was going to have to score. We know they probably weren't going to.

Here's the reality, more than many of you will want to admit, though....Gonzaga missed point blank look after point blank look, they shot less than 30% from the field in the second half, Williams-Goss missed four free throws (shot over 90% on the year) and the team couldn't capitalize the whole second half on the freebies, plus the Zags couldn't get a stop the last five possessions of the game. That's why they lost.

Yes, the refs had some bad calls....but they didn't prevent the Zags from winning. Not even close.

lol Arkansas call wasn't any better ...what gets me is they reviewed 2 dumb calls earlier that both went the cheats way stopping play constantly making it the most miserable game I've ever watched for a title game anyway !! Then the most important call of the game they don't review it lmao!! The integrity from day 1 of this tournament imo was compromised ..but that's just the sorry loser in me lmao ..not getting into details we've all heard them to much ..time to move on

Can't shoot as bad as Zags did and put all blame on refs guys. Yes they were bad, but Mountain Man couldn't hit sand if he fell off a camel tonight and Goss-Williams missed 4 free throws. How long did Zags go scoreless from field? Bottom line every Duke fan should see this game as final nail in coffin of season and hope 17-18 is injury free

Exactly. The last six months were just continuous kicks in the nuts for Duke fans. Tonight was the capper.....and they used steeltoe boots.

Sure, focus on the favorable calls for UNC. Ignore the reversed call on supposed Pinson deflection on Zag 3-pt miss that resulted in 2nd chance and made 3 for Gonzaga. Bad calls abound in the game. Ref excuse is lame. And, yeah, I'd call a UNC fan out for that, too. Stick with your scandal obsession.. your understanding of sports is lacking. Picture taken after play was dead. Watch it again real time.

Don't be mad if I disagree with you....you're not the most objective poster when it comes to anything Carolina-related.

Not mad at all. The Zags shoulda had that possession. Is what it is...

North Carolina's win aided by officiating gaffe in final minute

One of the most important baskets in North Carolina's 71-65 victory over Gonzaga shouldn't have counted because the team shouldn't have had the ball.

While fighting for a loose ball on the floor, Tar Heels forward Kennedy Meeks had his hand touch the ground out of bounds. The play should've been blown dead and the ball should've been given to Gonzaga.

LMAO at unx fans. Look , cheaters. Ya got one. Ill-gotten ( like all the others ) but ya got one. Good ol' Roy gets to stick his face behind every mic within sight and earshot and describe how much he's struggled and how these kids had nuthin' to do with nuthin' so they shouldn't be punished just fer bein' clustered in COMM and EXSS instead of AFAM. Lmao. Again , ya got one. The carolina way is exposed it's a punchline an' instead of holding anyone accountable it's much easier to shoot the messenger but good ol' Roy scammed his way to another. Good for him.

Well, I thought there were some really bad calls against the Zags, but there were some the other way also. It's just what it it, there are always going to be bad calls. Celebrate the ones that go for you, and ***** about the ones that go against you, but at the end of the day you got to live with it. And I can...too many more important things to worry about.

Refs were beyond awful on both sides last nite. NCAA has to do something b/c that was downright embarassing. Countless bad call all over in 2nd half.

I think Zags fans need to look into refs, see if the have any businesses they can write negative reviews on and then after that they need to send threats of violence toward the refs. Call me crazy, but it might just work to get the NCAA to take notice and give the national championship to Gonzaga and take it away from the holes.

44 fouls in 40 minutes. Who were the dummies who said the game would be better if they allowed more "freedom of movement"?
