Couldn't ya also make the argument that he SHOULDA been an AA given he was a Top 10 recruit to begin with ( playing alongside other Top 25 kids! ) outta high school for those 3 years? Look. I hate this crap too. unx won when they shouldn't have even been allowed to participate. Geez Louise , Sylvia Hatchell's over there with her traditionally strong program and signs THE top class in the country. Re-loads. Outta the blue , she eats a large part of this ( because , you know , unx committed all this fraud for a powerhouse women's program ) , loses that class and ends up decimated and rebuilding while Roy keeps his blue-chippers and wins a natty. It ain't fair. I get your frustration. I feel the exact same way. But I ain't gonna pat 'em on the back an' say "Job well done" when I know different. You're 100% right. There ain't "jack" we can do about any of it and , just so we're clear , I'm not implying that you ARE "patting them on the back." Far from it , I'd imagine.

Based on hype maybe, but we've all seen SO MANY kids that were overhyped simply because they chose to go the Carolina or Duke or any of the other blue blood schools. If you watched Jackson at all his first two years, you'd have seen that his shot simply wasn't consistent enough for the NBA. It's not like he walked onto campus and suddenly didn't have it anymore - he simply never had that consistency until this year (after a lot of hard work in the off season).

BTW, read your follow up about Jackson's appearance. Come on man.

Yeah, I took a moment to be as juvenile as some of the Holes who used to talk about how UGLY Kyle Singler, Nolan Smith and "Scheyer face" were. Shove it.
