I'm confused by your MSU lineup. I don't there is any way you should put Dampier, Roberts, and Varnado in there at the same time. I might replace Jarvis with Shane Power or Jamont.

I understand the nemesis lineup, but am I missing something with the MSU lineup?

just scare the living **** out of me when playing. I just knew when he stole the ball that if he got the shot off it was going in!

as the most miraculous performance in college basketball I have ever seen. The guy was taking and hitting 3s from 30 feet, and that was a legitimate 1 vs 5 game if I've ever seen one. Under normal circumstances, a performance like that would have been one that would have completely pissed me off, but all you could do with that one was shake your head and say "wow" among a few other things...

also John Stoud, Seasay, Sean Tuey (sp?) on the bad guy list. Stroud went off for 42 one night against us in the late 70's. Bob Wetlich got 4 technicals at the end of the game for telling at the officials.

or Ansu Sesay? GARY ERVIN ring a bell - kept us out of the 2007 tournament.

Demarcus Cousins and John Wall are working on it, especially if we play them again in the tourney. Well, I guess they are longshots, maybe honorable mention because Tuesday was very highly charged.

I would almost put Marcus Bullard on the nemesis list.

And the team needs a coach. Got to be Gottfried.

He's the player mentioned in the first sentence of this thread, the reason for its existence.

Thornton broke 30 on us twice, and Mitchell surprisingly hasn't. They have done about the same amount of damage.</p>

...If I had to pick the best 5 players I have ever seen in Maroon and White, I would go with the following MSU Team at their prime:

PG: Timmy Bowers 6-2 195
SG: Jeff Malone 6-4 200
SF: Ray White 6-5 195
PF: Bailey Howell 6-8 245
C: Erick Dampier 6-11 265

Off the bench:

PG: Chuckie Evans
SG: W. D. "Red" Stroud
SF: Dontae Jones
PF: Rickey Brown
C: Jarvis Varnado

Timmy Bowers was one of the toughest, most versatile players in MSU history. The best pure shooter in the history of MSU was Jeff Malone. Had there
been a 3 point line when he played he would have averaged over 35 ppg. Ray White could have played PG for us. He played the SF, but led the team in assists and steals. He was probably the best "lock down" defender we have ever had on the perimeter. I chose Erick Dampier over Swat for one reason and one reason only. He was 6-11 265 and was an enforcer. Bailey Howell was the best offensive rebounder in MSU history.

Long before he was flinging "Thugs" remarks at our players from theannouncers booth, or rescuing 6' 6", 330 lb. orphans from theMemphis Ghettos, Tuohy was an all-SEC point guard. That little turd could get the ball to anybody from anywhere- had the all-time SEC mark for assists. Also, he never lost to State- eight straight against us.

Also, you need to add Jeff Malone and Bailey Howell to theMSU starting lineup. Thosetwo in the lineup would ensure we'd winagainst anybody.
