the sportsbooks are already investigating it. If he had a straw bettor, they will figure it out and he will pay consequences for it. I wouldn’t doubt it because he has no allegiance to State and seems kinda thuggy.

I question his height. Might be 5 foot 11 instead of 6 foot 1.

Can't see behind the line but can 10 yards down the field

Never assume nefarious intent for things explainable by simple incompetence.

UF was a 9.5 point favorite, and the O/U was around 51.5. I guess an MSU score would have covered the Over, but if Shapen was being paid to point shave, we wouldn't have gotten to 21 in the first place.

And UF was the favorite, so betting on UF to win would not return enough money to make fixing the game economical.

I don't know ow how many millions Shapen is making this year, but how much would he have to be paid to throw a game...and how could the bettors possibly make enough money off this game for it to make sense?

All the bettor had to do was tell him that it was fine for Miss State to cover but the large bettor bet on the Florida ML for Florida to win. No points .

I’ve been saying this. The guy obviously has trouble seeing the field over his linemen in a way that a legit 6’1 guy shouldn’t.

And I wouldn’t want to insinuate that he’s anything other than a quarterback who’s just not very good.

The play was to throw to a spot. He did that. The NG ran to that spot. End of game.

Right. UF money line was -350. You had to bet $350 to win $100. How much money would you have to bet on UF so that your winnings are sufficient to pay off Shapen adequately and also make you happy? And how are the casinos not going to notice this?

Don’t be ridiculous. If he did he took a heck of a chance. What if Lebby lets the clock run & calls time out? The last play never gets run & we kick a potential game winning (and bet losing) FG.

If you’re clean, you’re clean and have nothing to worry about and we should be happy the sports books have launched an investigation. Maybe they will also look at the ref who called the FG no good.

But on The play before that did he try to purposefully fumble it? What was he thinking the play before that?
