My best guess as to what happens from here...

1. Sidney decides to stay in school- everything is re-paid, and he is ready to go next year
2. The hype starts that this is finally Standsbury's team to make a big run
3. We are a preseason top 25 team next season
4. I remind you guys that no matter who plays for us, we still have Standsbury's coaching
5. A couple of OOC losses have people amazed again
6. Neither Sidney nor Augustus wants to bang inside, Elgin Bailey legs don't work because of injuries, Riek makes us wish we had Wesley Morgan, and Lewis can't handle the post job for us
7. We are on the bubble aGAIN next year after finishing in a 3 way tie for the West title with Mississippi and UPig

We make the Tourney as a 12 seed and lose in round 1 in the Northeast somewhere

Standsbury pulls in 2 of the big 2011 recruits- sheep claim we can't do any better, Byrne can't pull the trigger because we made the NCAA's, and we languish on in our vicious cycle

You must be new here. If it was a thread every now and then it wouldn't be a big deal, but this guy has ruined this site and DS sat back and allowed him to do it. The board is filled with this stuff every day whether it's football, basketball, or baseball season. I know several people that won't come to this site to even read anymore just because of this stuff over and over and over again, and a few of those aren't even fans of Stans.

coach is a big fan of his. I enjoyed watching him play too, but from the picture I'm assuming he made a ton of posts about him.</p>

If Sidney is true to his word and returns as a Bulldog, there's no reason we shouldn't be a tourney team with a decent seed. In my opinion, we'll have as much talent as anyone in the SEC. That doesn't exactly say a lot, but it says enough. We'll add more than we're losing, so we should be an improved team.<div>
</div><div>We should be loadedat guard. We'll have more depth in the paint. We'll have 8 or 9 guys who can hit 3's. The only thing I'm worried about is interior defense, but Stans outta have enough to work with to remedy that. No excuses in 2010-11.</div>

that coach may post a TON of stuff on the same subject and sometimes he'll think of very unique and creative ways to back up his arguements... and yes, it can get old at time... but what he's saying about Stansbury is nothing but facts so far...

I'm not going to get into the John Pelphrey, Jacob Hester stuff.... but on Rick Stansbury, he's right.

your post for next seasonis actually quite an optimistic one. I see us being more like LSU this year. How about stating what this season could have been if Sidney had qualified to begin the season? Next year's West champ: Ole Miss.</p>

see us being like LSU this year? LSU is playing with 3 walk-ons- we will be at worst the 3rd most talented team in the SEC next year, probably 2nd

would get your attention! Seriously speaking, I think we will fall behind Ole Miss, along with Arkansas and perhaps Alabama also chasing. Now, getting back to my question for you....how do you think we would have done with Sid?
