We were 17ed when I first saw the lineup. Come on Cohen, why put two bullets in your head by playing Frost AND Pirtle, when one bullet will get the job done. How many years of watching Frost suck *** against SEC pitching are we going to have to watch before we bench his ***? Pirtle, Frost, and Hann should be on the bench unless they are brought in to pinch run, from now on. Matthew Britton may not be a stud, but at least he is only a sophomore, so playing him at 2b will only make him better...and he can't be any worse than Frost or Pirtle at the plate.

Speaking of pinch running.......what the 17 are you thinking, Cohen? Pinch running for Rea in the 6th or 7th inning?? Why? We are in a tighht game and we may need his bat in the 9th or extra innings. You don't throw away a great bat in HOPES for a single run. And then he did the same damn thing with Slauter a few innings later! Heaven forbid we had gone back through the lineup, then we'd have Ammirati to add to an already stellar bottom of the order. 17ing clueless as to what John was thinking tonight.

Chad mother17ing Girodo. I shouldn't have to say more....but a few weeks ago I posted on this board that yes, Girodo was looking better, but we better not get too comfortable trotting him out there when SEC play starts, because he is STILL Chad Girodo. Well, we got what we deserved on that one.

Daryl Norris may not get another hit this season, and I still would rather have him hitting than Frost or Pirtle.

Quit worrying so damn much about right on right and left on left! We obviously don't have the bullpen we had last year, so quit wasting the hot arms. Bracewell was already burnt for the weekend, so why take him out and bring in Cox? By the way, would Slauter have called a 17ing fastball down the screws to Katz? We'll never know, because Nick mf Ammirati was in the game instead. Holy ****.

Henderson....where do we begin. How about batting 3 times and getting out 6 times in those 3 at bats! Seriously. At some point you gotta **** or just take and take and take and hope to hell they walk you. Terrible. He is a walking chopper to the shortstop.

Now for the next two games....I see nothing that tells me we can win with Evan Mitchell on the mound if we couldn't wrap up a 4-1 lead tonight. Hopefully he will have a little control, but I doubt it. We will be lucky to win 1 this weekend now that Cohen has cost us Game 1.

Rant over. Hopefully we can take out some frustration tomorrow.

If Mitchell gets past the second inning, I'll be surprised. That's why we held off on Ross Mitchell tonight. They knew he would have to throw extended innings on Saturday.

My whole key for the rest of the year well it's two.

1. We have to get Woodruff going. He changes our whole staff if he's a weekend starter. Mitchell is Devin Jones 2.0 ability to throw a no hitter or walk the whole team.

2. Cohen to get his head out of the sand. I really think he is to smart for his own good.

Wish I knew what cohen told Lindgren before the Katz bomb but by his reaction. I'm gonna guess it was not throw him anything close.

Is Katz a Senior yet? Just trying to see how many more games he will single handedly beat us in before he graduates. Why we don't intentionally walk that mf'er every time from here on out, I don't know. Might as well bring Mike Zunino back for Florida so we can throw him a few more hanging curve balls while we're at it.

We love to let teams best players beat us. Basketball is usually a no name that goes off. But baseball we let the all American pad those stats

No, it's the opposite. You can't constantly do dumb unexplainable irrational things and be labeled smart. Please Butch, save us. Bring Woodruff back and get Evan right. This season has fallen in your hands.

They beat us at what we thought was our own game. Their bullpen dominated us. Lindgren made one big mistake but otherwise pitched well. We got timely hitting early on and knocked their ace out. Late in the game, however, we blew it... plain and simple. They scored the tying run without getting any hits. Can't make those kinds of mistakes against good teams. We should've won this game 4-3 with La Flama Blanca fist pumping and tossing 17 bombs at the LSU dugout.

Perhaps Cohen over-coached a bit getting trigger happy on the mound and tweaking the lineup, but ultimately LSU is who we thought they were, and we let 'em off the hook.
