I have been having problems with a DVR. I went into the service center in Jackson and received a new larger DVR and also a discount of $30+ per month on my bill.
I told them I wanted to drop a few pay channels to save on my bill. She offered me the promotional rated and a discounted DVR.
FYI : I have done this before in the past and it's well worth the 15 minute wait..

DS.. Go to the Service Center....

I had a promotional Triple Play from 2 or so years ago. When I upgraded boxes AT the retail center a year or so ago, they completely screwed up my bill. Since that particular Triple Play was no longer in the system, they had to piece meal my package back together.<div>
</div><div>Long story short, all that ended recently and I was tired of paying $210+ for an outdated package including $8.50 for SD boxes, $10 extra for a internet tier that I should have never had to pay, etc.</div><div>
</div><div>Called in, got a competent rep and now have a Triple Play with all the pay channels, DVR, 3 additional HD boxes for a shade over $180. It can be rare, but if you get a competent employee on the phone, they can help you out.</div>

HBO and Showtime, the extra HD tier and pay $120 on TimeWarner. And exchanging boxes has never affected my plan. the new Cisco DVRs are much better than the Scientific America ones or whatever they are. I've looked at everything else but they would all be a large price jump, plus I'm not in any contract. I'd also have to keep TW Internet since dish etc. use craptastic DSL, so I'd lose my bundle discount and pay even more, or go to 3MBps Internet.

And it doesn't go out during a storm. If I could get the same features for a better priced change, but no luck yet. We have Grande Communications which is a
Most as good, even faster Internet, but their DVR boxes can't record two shows while watching a third recorded one, you have to watch one that's recording. Deal breaker.

HD/DVR/HBO/Sports tier in our main room and a 2nd HD box in our bedroom. Our bill is $120+tax. I can't complain about the prices or the actual delivery of services. It's their incompetent customer service that makes you want to cancel.

with both ATT and C-spire. Security system tied through it (I know you can get cell signal connected for security).

Comcast seems to work with you a little bit more and the difference of having a home phone vs not having one is like $10 for the few times I have looked at it.
