Assuming the lockout ends soon-
1. Michael Vick, Phi QB
2. Adrian Peterson, Min RB
3. Chris Johnson, Ten RB
4. Aaron Rodgers, GB QB
5. Arian Foster, Hou RB

Sleeper QB- Stafford
Sleeper RB- Blount

Hint: if you can sneek in Antonio Gates or Dallas Clark, possible Gonzalez in the 6th round or 7th round, they beat out a lot second tier WR and RB.

My philosophy in FF is consistency. Get the most consistent players across the board and you give yourself a chance. Its all luck anyway, but I have fun with it.

Thoughts?

then he'll get hurt. Same thing with Johnson and probably Vick, although I'd be more concerned with teams making adjustments to slow him down once they get a few weeks worth of film to watch.

I'd go with Rodgers if you're a QB first dude, and I'd find young RB's that are in contract years rather than the popular picks. Although I can't say I'd pass up on them if I had the chance (I like to talk **** and then not follow my own advice).

and its not just about how many points in a year, its about consistency from players and managing the team. I constantly pick up good points off offree agency.

If you gotta a league you want me to join, I'd be happy to.</p>

You will not end up with a Tier 1 or 2 RB at that point. You can get close to the same value from a QB in round 2.

If I pick in the top 5, I will not take a QB in the first two rounds unless it is a no brainer.

well i doubt i get the #1 overall pick... but i think we are going to have more hammy's and injuries to deal with this year...

while wr can pull one, too ...I just think it is safer to go WR, then RB

It's more about point differential between certain tiers in each position. It all depends on how much you're giving up in RB/WR points by taking a QB first. Logically, taking Vick in the first round is a good idea if you're one of the last picks. Taking him first overall is a little riskier.<div>
</div><div>As for my Top 5, I'll go with:</div><div>1. Peterson (reliability)</div><div>2. C. Johnson</div><div>3. Charles</div><div>4. Foster (only one great year)</div><div>5. (tie) Rice, A. Johnson, McCoy</div><div>
</div><div>Injury concerns for MJD and Vick leave me worried.</div>
