My ideal MSU football uniform...

I've never seen many pictures of the uniforms from the Felker era when those colors seem to be used. Stick to maroon/white with maybe a tiny amount of black trim to make numbers/stripes stand out if necessary, a la Jackie's Nike uniforms.
Also, I didn't think I would like the maroon facemask on the maroon helmet, but it has definitely grown on me the past two years.

Helmet looks so much better without the maroon face mask. Watching Texas A&M makes me mad because their helmets look so much better with their white face mask.
even now, when i see a clip of them, for about one/billionth of a second, i think its us. but, maybe thats the very reason we should stick w the maroon facemasks, i dunno. i think the only other teams that has maroon hats/masks are the hokies (VT) and the the chippiwas (Central Mich). im still gonna tweek it a lil more for the previous posters' comments and see if i can get it a lil bit clearer (than a jpeg)........is evrybody digging the stripes on helmet? if u get a chance, research the 1987 uniforms, i think u'll like 'em.
