My (late) Saturday morning practice observations

Things that stuck out to me about the morning practice:
Ballard = chiseled
Relf has full command of his side of the ball
Ricco Sanders caught everything thrown his way (that I saw)
The Oregon style speed drills (ie. quick play calling and moving teams on and off the field) was VERY impressive. We are going to be fast this year.
The Dan/Les exchange was intense. I love the fire from both of them during the exchange.
I met Coach Geoff Collins' mother on the sidelines. She was awesome! She.Knows.Football. Very pleasant to meet and talk with.
Maye is a full grown man out there. Very vocal... You can tell he will be a leader on D.
Morrow = tall.
I was impressed that Bump took the time after practice to take pics with all the little kids out there. You could tell he was dying after practice but happily took a few mins for them.

Anyone have anything else to add?

I'm sitting in the endzone to the left of the goal post, looking down the length of the field. D on the left sideline, O on the right. Mullen between the hash mark and the sideline on the D side of the field. The horn blows to start the drill (speed play calling/snap). The D is lined up and the O is huddled around Les on the right sideline.

DM: O, get on the ball!
(nothing)
DM: Come on! Come on!
(nothing)
(Dan starts moving over to the O huddle on the other sideline)
DM: God Damn It Les, call the play!
DM: Call the 17ing play Les!
LK: I called the play Dan!
(Dan sprinting to the O sideline)
DM: Hurry your 17ing *** up and call the 17ing play LES!
LK: I called the 17ing play Dan!
(Dan in Les's face - inches apart)
DM: Get your 17ing head out of your *** Les (or something real close to this) and call the 17ing play faster!
LK: I called the 17ing play, I CALLED.THE.17ING.PLAY.DAN!
LK: God Damn It!
LK: (to the O) Get your 17ing asses out there!

I want to say the play actually ended in a pretty big play (Long TD pass, I think)

Dan and Les quietly exchanged pleasantries for a few seconds after theLOUD outburst. I'm sure it was about which church to attend the next morning or something like that.
But seriously, when it was all said and done it looked like everyone was good again.

I agree with all of the above....Relf looked great....throws were on the money! I think our passing game is going to really open up the run for us.
My son was one of the kids Bump got a picture with....he was really nice. So was Mitchell and Broomfield.
The cuss fight was awesome! I did think Dan said "I'll call the 17ing play," when Les still didn't have them out on the field, but I may have been mistaken.
