1) Chris Petersen - Boise State (12-0, 'nuff said)
2) Kyle Whittingham - Utah (12-0)
3) Brady Hoke - Ball State (12-0)
4) Gary Patterson - TCU (10-2)
5) Brian Kelly - Cincinnati
6) David Bailiff - Rice (9-3 this year, better than Graham did there)
7) Tommy Tubberville - too intriguing to leave off the list - has been undefeated in the SEC

Before you laugh at me, all of these people would get a large pay increase (except Tubby), better exposure and challenge of playing in the best conference in the country. In the past, we did not have the budget and instead of doing things the "right way" we did things the "cheap way." Now, because of the TV contracts we have the money and the exposure to get one of the best.

I intentionally left off ...

1) Todd Graham - Tulsa - look at the way he handled leaving Rice
2) Dooley - beat us, but not that impressive at La Tech
3) Fulmer - been successful, but I believe he has lost the fire

About Brady Hoke, he was 22-37 heading into this season. Ball State doesn't have a great football program, but I would like to see a little more consistent success before considering him.
