1. Another year of failure to get better as the season wore on. For all the sunshine pumpers who preseason predict we'll be better because 'they're a year older' please remember 2015 (and many, many others, btw).
2. Towles regression.
3. WRs who can't consistently catch the ball.
4. OL that is just plain awful against even mediocre competition.
5. Special teams that were, across the board, beyond woeful. Only McGinnis was acceptable and, because he was hurt half the year, not nearly the weapon we counted on. Every other phase was clearly the worst in the conference and one of the worst in all of FBS.
6. A defense that still hasn't been taught basic fundamentals of playing against an option QB. Every single team we've played under Stoops has gashed us repeatedly with QB option. It's embarrassing to see our defense so unprepared time after time.
7. Our coordinators inability (or unwillingness) to make any meaningful adjustments as the game wore on. Today's game was the perfect illustration of this frustration.
8. Individuals who continue to lack discipline, technique and desire game after game after game. One would think after so many games, a player would quit making the same mistakes but, yet, we saw our DE crash down on the dive play leaving the QB free to break outside in game 1 and today in game 12.
9. Predictability of our offense which, preseason, I thought would be above average SEC. Instead, we got straight dive plays, playing behind the sticks, a QB who was inconsistent, inaccurate and unable to play under stress, gameplans that were not EVER going to work, OL play that was consistently abysmal, etc.
10, Coach Stoops saying game after game, "We're going to get that fixed" and then seeing them make the exact same bonehead mistakes.
