My opinion on UK Football and Mark Stoops

The most interesting thing is Curci won 6 games in his second year. I suspect if Stoops won 6 games in year two (as did Curci) he would be on firm ground now.

I do respect your opinion - but once again my opinion is Brooks and his staff did much more with much less...your opinion basically says that brooks went 7-5 with inherited players yet said they were badly coached.....I cannot see this as a basis of proof as a matter of fact it seems to say as I had insinuated that the Brooks staff coached up worse players than we have now to a better record in an SEC East that was IMMENSLEY BETTER than the version CMS has had in front of him

The team was 7-5 the year before Brooks took over and most of the players returned and he tried to turn them into a conservative team with Hudson and it didn't work.. and in 07 they coached the team down after the LSU WIN. The one year from the LSU loss in 06 and thru the LSU win was very well coached maybe the best ever at UK.

They scored in 3 plays because that's when UL changed QBs. He pretty much scored in 3 plays for the remainder of the game. Forrest's spiking the ball didn't change anything. Coming into the game not prepared to face the UL QB that actually took more snaps on the season than any other did.

In the SECOND quarter up 21-7 we had the ball at the Otis 33 (fumble Horton)..25 yd line (missed 52 yd fg)..ball on the 2 and absolutely horrible coaching click management and Barker missing Badet wide open in EZ...3pts total game over..that's 42 possible pts at half...second have NON existence of any offense whatsoever cost us the ball game... really did not need to score just move a freaking chain and get some first downs , kill some clock that's all that needed to be done.. that is what happens when you have a head coach who plays to keep from losing instead of winning

I'm a bit confused......
-Horton fumble........that's Horton's fault.
-Missed FG......that's Mac's fault
-Ball on the 2........bad clock management and horrible play calling (including personnel packages)....Stoops fault for the clock management......Dawson's fault for everything else
-Barker missed Badet.......Barker's fault.
-No offense the rest of the game......that's player execution and Dawson's fault for playcalling and lack of execution.
-Just keep the chains moving.......do you honestly think anyone anywhere believes that we didn't want to move the chains?

Stoops has made some bad coaching mistakes without a doubt this yr.........but you just attributed about 7-8 different things in one paragraph incorrectly to Stoops.
