My reranking of the West based on observations so far...

1. Bama (they should join the NFL)
2. LSU (only possible stumbling block for Bama to another NC)
3. Texas A&M (after watching FL dismantle TN their loss to the Gators actually looks much better and they put a beat down on SMU)
4. MSU (sorry, have to move us back down after watching Auburn again and our defensive performance @Troy)
5a Auburn
5b Arkansas (hey both went into OT at home against ULM but Chizik > John L. Smith and Arkansas looks to be going into meltdown mode)
7. OM (offense is definitely better but the defense is horrendous and Wallace is going to take a beating this year in that system in the SEC)

You, along with most of the nation, are drastically over rating Tennessee. They aren't good. They haven't been good in a long, long time. They didn't get good recruits. They don't have a good coach. For the life of me I can't understand why people rank them so high and give them credit they don't deserve. A&M is not the third best team in the West.
