I’d probably say South Carolina (Women’s).

South Carolina women’s basketball averaged a $5.59 million deficit over the past three years- despite national championships, undefeated seasons, packed out areas. Dawn Staley is the highest paid women’s coach in the country. They have a very high NIL relative to their sport ect
Our baseball program and South Carolina women’s basketball have a lot in common. Both are “investments” in glory- just with different levels of red ink and trophy cases.

Edited 1- SC has 3 national championships. We have 1
-SC has 10 regular season SEC championships and 9 SEC tournaments championships. We have 11 and 7.

I like Arizona as the answer to this question. Maybe Virginia.

that UVA team that lost to a 16 seed was their best team. Kind of like our 89 team not making Omaha.

compares to State baseball.

I said Arizona after thinking for a few seconds. Always hovering around great - won the natty once.
Nailed it. They have one natty, but are usually in the conversation in men’s basketball.

Western University. The Dolphins had fallen on hard times and only turned it around when they realized they had to spend the money necessary.

A little like Memphis. If the Tigers had a real coach, they'd be back up in the top 10 regularly. I like Penny, but he's just not a hardcore disciplinarian. He doesn't have to be an arse, but does need to get in the face of his players when needed to make them accountable.

Arkansas basketball maybe. 1 national championship. Legendary coach ended things on bad terms with administration and has since been reconciled

This horse was born, lived a full life, died, and was beaten into a mush, turned to dog food fed to a dog who lived, died was beaten himself into a pulp, then buried and fertilized grass that another horse ate, lived a long life then died only for bulldoghair to start beating him again.

I don’t know why they’re mad with their gif replies? South Carolina ladies basketball is really really good. I think my answer to the question and comparison of what basketball school most compares to our baseball program is the closest and most accurate. They just have different genitals and different balls.

Also have to take into account fan support. Does Zona have a following like we do (equivalent to their peers)?

I think a good comp in football is Auburn or Clemson.

It’s because you’ve more than embraced the truth that you are an obtuse idiot to the point that you’re stale…
Stale? It’s Staley. You’re trying to spell Dawn Staley without looking up how to spell her name. I’m stale like Staley- Thanks for the comparison. You might think she’s an idiot, but she runs one heck of a women’s basketball program.

Quick tip, if you want to troll, you can’t make it so obvious. I mean, I respect your dedication. This country needs people with your grit. But next time don’t telegraph your moves as much.

Too bad for her some horrible things are about to happen to her program. #1, being Texas just took the mantle from SCAR and will stay on top due to $$$$. #2, kiss Greenville goodbye. Vic stated many times tonight his tiredness of SC hosting the SEC WBBT every damn year, so it's gone. Look for it to be more centrally located next year, unless G'ville is under some damn contract for several more years. #3, see #1.

The South Carolina women’s basketball comparison is so obvious and yall are mad about it for some reason. That’s not telegraphing or trolling- that’s just facts hitting you in the face like an underhanded 69 mph softball pitch, and you don’t like the sting.

Bulldawg77 & maroonhair are the ‘08 Auburn - State football game of NIL…
You’re still mad about that 2017 NCAA Championship game that our girls lost to South Carolina 67–55. We had the game in our hands with a chance to tie or take the lead late and fumbled it away. And now you hate Dawn Staley ever since- and that’s why you hate my comparison of her and her team with our baseball program.

Even today add another comparison in common- South Carolina women’s basketball losing to Texas today is like the spiritual sequel to our 1985 baseball team getting bounced by Texas in the College World Series. Both losses hurt the same way- Both had it all, and both humbled by Texas money and execution on a big stage.
