My thoughts on college baseball (small ball)....

I like the suggestion for wooden bats and pro balls, Rick, but making the pitcher hit? I can think of a lot of reasons to keep the DH, but the only reason I can think of to make the pitchers hit is that it would do away with the brushback pitch.
I'd like to see the rules committee do something about batters who purposely try to get HBP.

i agree on changing the balls to the pro ball
that are wound a little tighter with the different seams, but no on everything else ( wooden bats, bringing the fences in , and no DH) . I think the ball change would create a little more offense which would be nice.

I think the pitchers should have to hit. Every other position has to play both offense and defense, so why not the pitcher? The DH hasn't been around all that long and I never have liked it. And I'm all for wooden bats too.

But if I was a decent college player, I'd definitely try using a wooden bat, you know scouts would love it.
