My thoughts on wishing an MSU loss this weekend...

I am a recent MSU alum, graduated in May 07. I was in the band all 4 years of college and missed around 4-5 games TOTAL in my time at State. I have witnessed so many embarassing losses, sometimes I wonder why I still am a fan. Having said that, I won't be "rooting" for a State loss this weekend, but I don't get excited about State games and believe that a loss to MTSU will be the best thing for the future of our program. I used to get pissed at losses, now I just expect it. The fans should not have to be apathetic about our program, but how in the hell can you possibly be excited about this staff and team?? If we beat MTSU I won't be excited about it... Just like I didn't give a **** about beating Vandy, its Vandy... 6 is their unlucky number. Same with MTSU, who gives a damn if we win this? We SHOULD win this game and the fact that we have a good chance at getting beat says more than enough as far as I'm concerned.

In summary, I'm not "rooting" against us this weekend, so don't say I'm a bad fan but I do think we gain in the long run from a loss this weekend. </p>

If so, myself, megadawgmaniac, and Todd4State would like to thank you for playing taps at the end of the 2004 LSU game.

Seeing the bigguns out there doing the Zombie Thriller dance was one of the funniest things I have ever seen, so, I too want to extend a warm thank you and good day to you sir.
