Yes, you read that correctly. A true freshman Linebacker was named offensive player of the week.

This is one of the best things I'll say about Mullen and company, I think they have a damn good eye for talent. It just seems to be everything between reviewing a guys film, and him making plays at DWS that is still a little questionable.

We were on him earlier than most, and we wanted to keep him off the SEC's radar. It was a long shot, but we still identified him early on in the process.

Kinda like the Holcolmb kid this year.

Well was it a legitimate recruiting effort or a big waste of time on a kid we had no shot at to make our offer list look good....to appease our recruitniks. The kid got offers from 15 big schools including Oregon and FSU. His final choices were all west coast schools. Just askin .
