On ESPN if you’re off work today. Not a great game so far. Western Michigan has been dominating Kennesaw State and is up 21-0 halfway through the 1st.

Memphis and NC State play at 1:30 today.

Tonight's Alabama at Oklahoma game may be interesting. I sorta think Oklahoma will win again, and if they do, I have to wonder about DeBoer's future.

The Tide will roll.
Maybe, but I dunno. Venables has beaten them twice in a row and this year it was in Tuscaloosa. Tonight’s game is in Norman and Mateer has had some more time to heal his hand.

You know bowl season is in full swing when you have a 10AM weekday game! Love when both CUSA/Maction weeknight and bowl week start every year.
Looks like Kennesaw didn't wake up this morning. For some reason I've kinda been following them over the past few years from when they were absolutely awful to now being pretty good. I remember watching their first FBS win over undefeated Liberty.
NCSU/Memphis might be interesting.

I really don't understand the daytime weekday bowl games. How in the hell are there enough people watching midday on a Friday to make the math work? I can get having a bowl game or even two every night and that drawing enough viewers to amke it work, but who the hell is watching midday on Friday the 19th? Are there a significant number of people off today?

Hard to say but assume someone is running the numbers. I think the same when I scroll down through all of the pretty obscure games on ESPN+. Glad the math is still working though.
I guess there are enough folks who have it running in the background and retirees like me that will put on any CFB game if its available. (although I might have to give up on my Owls and run some errands at this rate)

My kids are out of school today. I started my Christmas vacation today and I know a lot of folks in my office did the same thing. The Myrtle Beach Bowl is owned by ESPN, so it’s just cheap daytime programming for them.

Did Memphis have players opt out of the bowl game? They're not looking all that good (but just scored a TD).
