No way UNC gets touched. Like you kind of said, UL is irrelevant...you should see this press conference they're having now, it's pathetic looking, there's some 90 yo grandma up there, looks like it's at a 1996 era bank in pikeville...idk where they are, jurich, pitino, the lawyer, etc all look like aids infested weirdos....just a pathetic organization.
So, NCAA might hammer them so they can look like they are a responsible organization that has rules, and they won't really hurt anybody by doing that. All 5,000 UL fans in KY, or whatever, will cry, and NCAA basketball won't take a hit. Nobody cares.
No way they touch UNC for academic stuff for a couple reasons. UNC is a basketball god, and the academic stuff opens a potential can of worms for the NCAA. It's kind of thr elephant in the room. It's understood these "amateur" athletes go to "class", but not "exactly". And that's fine. Hey, we the NCAA are making boatloads of money on their backs. Everything is just fine.
Jmho.
I'll take the UL stuff, if it happens, and be soooo happy with that. Couldn't ask for more, tbh. What the NCAA has already surpassed any expectation I had. Now we'll see if it holds up in appeals. Who knows....
...will Katina be in the spotlight again? UL has to prove that this ex assistant is full of crap, and no whores went down in the dorms, right? Or, they have to prove the players that received "improper benefits" didn't even commit to UL, or never played? I guess I don't understand what UL can possibly appeal here. Rick even kind of admitted in today's present conference that "hey uhh I didn't see any of this stuff, but I wasn't there after 10pm because I can't stay up late". He actually said that more than once. Then he said "if this happened it would have been all over social media" more than once. Which it was ok social media. We saw pictires of chane and a few others with Katina and The Girls. Whatever. ESAD, Rick and UL.
