Currently at Murray State University. Took a tour today with kid #2. It went pretty well. Still have to tour UK and Bellarmine. Her interest is in business and business marketing. Sharp kid. She should do well. Keeping fingers crossed. Nothing like seeing a bunch of college kids changing classes to make me feel damn old.

That’s it. That’s all we get? C’mon, man. Give us a few more details beyond the obvious.

Did you just happen to be walking down the street while they were filming? Was this the consolation prize for finishing 5th in the local Star Search tryouts? Did you at least get a line? Something like...”These pretzels are making me thirsty”...

So many questions...so few answers...

@Kooky Kats

Tell us a story about the “kooky early days”...
Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Sometimes it feels like this world's gone crazy
Grandpa, take me back to yesterday
When the line between right and wrong
Didn't seem so hazy
Did lovers really fall in love to stay
And stand beside each other, come what may?
Was a promise really something people kept
Not just something they would say
Did families really bow their heads to pray?
Did daddies really never go away?
Whoa, whoa, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Grandpa, everything is changing fast
We call it progress, but I just don't know
And grandpa, let's wander back into the past
Then paint me the picture of long ago

You won’t even tell us who your real baseball team is. Until such time, my vault is closed.

Padres ain’t it.

Once I hear the real truth you may get a story ior two about a gun pointed at my head, David Letterman, chef Jean George or Julie Haggerty

@Kooky Kats

We’ve been over this before. I don’t have a MLB team...other than whichever team happens to be playing the Yankees or St. Louis Cardinals at any given moment. Have always hated both teams.

Young Kaizer was a Pirates fan because of proximity. Went to many a Pirate game in the 70’s & early 80’s. We then moved to Kentucky. Still liked the Pirates but started going to Reds games & became a fan of them.

Then the 1st players strike happened.

Then the 2nd players strike happened.

Then the all star game ended in a tie. Which was dumb.

Then they started giving home field advantage in WS to the league that won the all star game. Which is hands down the dumbest thing in all of sports.

Combination of all of the above led to grown *** Kaizer despising MLB. Still watch playoffs & WS here & there...but I damn sure don’t have a team...

Until you anointed the Padres as my team.

Now give us a freakin’ story, brother!!!

NCAA tournament: Hey UK if you play your cards right you could move up to a 4/5 seed line.

UK on senior night: no thanks the 8/9 seed is much more our style...

UK won’t get an 8/9. We will probably have two more losses before the committee makes their selections...no way we beat Arkansas at Arkansas & we will lose in the SEC tourney before the finals.

So at 21-12 I’m guessing that UK will most likely be in one of the 11 seed play-in games.

That would give us a good shot at winning more games. Would that count as a first round win?

I mean ****. When Cal's options are limited and his back is against the wall he shows some semblance of a coach.

Placing toppin as primary ball handler. Letting reeves go when he realized he was hot annnnddd playing a damn zone to end the game when guys fouled out and Arkansas couldn't shoot outside. Completely clogged the lane. He played zone and it worked. Didn't go stall ball the last 15 mins of the 2nd half. I wasn't sure what I was watching tbh.

He will eff it up one good time in the big dance. I'm already prepared.

I hated toppin for the first half of the season. I believe my hate was misdirected because of cal. Kid has put together a great season, showed off a multiple skill set and will definitely make some money like this.

Love the toughness but Oscar should have been ejected. He has to reel that in in the dance. Whoever we draw is going to go after him to throw those elbows.

So yeah I believe this team may have 1 or 2 wins left in them. Cal will have to prove me wrong that this isn't just fools gold

I enjoyed the guts not backing down when things got physical, but yes, Oscar has got to control his elbows. That seems to be happening a lot. I’m sure he gets beat up a lot down in the paint but the refs see the payback usually and not the instigation.
