Yeah, and Wall is 0 for his last 9 shots. He has killed any chance they had at a comeback. Pains me to say it…but tis true.
Selected for jury duty twice but never at the federal level.
The first time i had just turned 18 two months earlier…and i get jury duty. How dumb is that? Why would they even have 18 year olds in the jury pool? Just dumb. No other way to describe it. Obviously they never picked me for a jury. But it was pretty cool to watch the process live and in color i guess.
Second time i got selected i was 32 and i got out of it. Sole provider for my family at the time and i had to travel for work. Just submitted a letter and filled out a couple of forms and poof…no jury duty.
like i mentioned earlier, i just got my letter saying i got out of it. i don't care how cool the process may or may not be i want no part of it. have worked second shift most of my life and i don't desire getting out of bed early just to see lawyers at work and most likely criminals. i already have a cynical opinion of most people, couple that with being over tired and pissed about being there, nobody would want me on their jury.
I got a jury duty letter delivered to my Haggin Hall address towards the end of my freshman year. Got out of that since I was moving back home for the summer.
Got a letter again ~15 years ago. Number wasn't called.
2014 I got as far as being questioned in the jury pool. Didn't get selected.
Federal case could be cool.

Question: How much longer until you qualify for retirement from the UofI system?
I'm about 8 years away from starting a phased retirement program here. Sometimes they offer an early retirement program, I'm 10 years away from that, assuming they keep the same age requirements as before. That's something I'm considering.
All of my retirement money is in a 403b plan, fully vested. The retirement benefit is usually health insurance paid for 5 years or plus a contribution to your retirement fund as though you are working.

I was summoned but not selected for this heroin case. Guy sold 2 grams to undercover agents and the selection process was a joke. You would have thought the guy sold uranium to Russia the way both sides phrased their questions to jurors. Pretty interesting, but I see why so many people take plea deals. Even if you are not guilty.
