If I remember correctly they were shower heads? They were very nice and fancy and expensive but they were either on sale had a promo code or was just really way under priced on the website that day. He gave guys a heads up and a few of them bought them. I could be wrong though.

Truly a great day in DLeague/NOB lore. Kook attended some fancy shindig that gave out codes for like $100 or something from the fancy part of Lowe’s, I believe. Pretty sure we managed to get the promotion shut down. I got a very nice shower head that’s still working to this day, a conduction burner, and some pretty sweet wa(r)shcloths. That has to be 10+ years ago.

Yeah, there was the coupon code that Kook gave us. Willy got a fancy shower head, but lost it when he got divorced.

But at another time, Kook did a remodeling project and got some really cool industrial sink faucet that sticks out of the wall. He posted pictures of it.

Hey kooky, got any of them promo codes for replacement windows? What about condensing units?

TIA
Speaking of which, are any of the home warranty things worth the monthly payment? It's one of those things thath seem helpful but could be 100% a scam. House is going on 21 years now. It's probably just better to save $ ourselves, right?

Can’t help you funky. I’ve never gone that route. But we are in the same boat...built our house 23 years ago.

I hated our warranty company. They are all the same. Small ticket items like stoves fridges they might come in handy. HVAC companies hate them and most won't deal with them. 100 degrees outside air unit goes out and they are useless. You are burning up while they are trying to find a local who will respond. If not you then have to find one and reimburse. Warranty company expects a diagnosis then a submittal for approval for the work. Doesn't happen same day for big ticket problems. All while you are roasting or freezing. Then your HVAC if managed to find one has to continue to schedule to come back once whatever work was approved. They always look to the cheapest route. They ain't replacing the whole thing. If it is truly blown then they will prorated the costs if it is old unit. Which it will be.

Sry long rant. They are scams.

I've often wondered if a home warranty is worth it.

What’s funny is, I realized the date as I was sitting in a prosethics shop awaiting delivery of a new leg/brace. Did the math.

I owe the 4th installment of the Kook archive. Seriously, I have about 43 episodes. Slow burn like Better Call Saul. Culminating in a plot twist for the ages at age 50.
It’s been awhile since I heard the epic plumbing story. Seems like it involved digging up a street or a retaining wall. Maybe that’s two different stories.

Two different stories.

Pretty sure there was a 4 part mini-series on FX based on the retaining wall incident alone. Couple of people were murdered in the TV version but it was based on kooky’s real life experience otherwise.

Was that when the neighbors pool flooded his backyard?

Now that we have something that closely resembles a roster I’m ready to watch them play.

When do the Canada games start, eh? Are they televised or do you have to stream to watch?
