FTR, I'm very much pro-harassment. I laughed my *** off at all the "John Higgins took a dump on my roof and didn't finish the job" type stuff. Hell, in the abstract, I don't even care if some nutjob did make a death threat. Double hell, in the abstract, I don't even care if some nutjob actually did murder him. Jackasses get murdered all the time, just means there's less jackasses to deal with -- and if the jackass in question happens to be a piss-poor ref with a bias against UK then so much the better. Now maybe I might feel bad for his kids, but, then again, they should have picked a better dad.

Oh, and f--k John Higgins.

"John Higgins took a dump on my roof and didn't finish the job"

Lmao I said that

I think I said that on here? I know it wasn't Facebook. This is about the only place I dwell.

But amen that post x100

Look, if you want to be real about it - mfers life's are threatened everyday, b. That's half the reason the e-world spins. The other half would be e-porn. Everybody knows this. Mfers exploit this stupid **** and use it for whatever agenda/business they have. Sports writers are crap. The sports world is crap, tbh. People openly troll and poke BBN just so they can write about/to vast fanbase in exchange for hits. ****, we made Greg Marshall's drunk wife national news. That's so stupid. So, yea, of course we're gonna threaten John Higgins stupid life bc he sucks and of course lil dickwads are gonna "write" about it and sell e-clicks over it.

It's gd hilarious. Who cares.

The absolute worst are the holier-than-thou PC UK fans like KSR who play that "oh my goodness I am soooo sorry for our fans, we aren't all like this pinky swear". GGP. Every BBN was standing up and yelling awful things at John Higgins when he was b-fng us raw in the elite 8. We are all crazy about this stuff. So what 1/10000 of our fans expressed their displeasure on his damn Facebook page.

so question for anyones in the know. got my first ever letter for jury duty. first of all i want no part in it. i know they are bitches to get out of. but here is my question. my time says between May 30 and June 30, summer, kid is out of school. wife works days, i work seconds. kid is with me in the summer until wife gets off, we pass the little kiddo off and i go to work. with jury duty that isn't possible. if i were to be selected, but even being on call etc? is that enough of a burden to get out of it? will the state make me pay for and force me to put my kid in daycare so i can be available for jury duty service?

I've gotten a letter a few times. The first one, I never even had to go in. The night before, you call a number and they tell you if they need your number or not.

The second time, I went in and made it to the pool of potential jurors. They asked everyone if they had a reason why they couldn't participate. Someone was already on a jury at a different court. Someone else had surgery scheduled. I can't remember all of the excuses. Bottom line, you will likely get out of it.

Found this on a website about jury duty:

Anyone else who wishes to be excused from jury duty must make a request to the court in writing. You may ask to be excused from jury duty because of a serious personal hardship. For example, you may be excused if you have caregiving responsibilities and there is no one who can take your place. You may also ask to be excused because of a disability or medical condition. If you are asking to be excused due to a disability or medical condition, you must submit a physician’s or physician assistant’s certificate as to the disability.

Can you lie and keep a straight face? If so, just show up the first day and explain that you've always felt that if a case makes it to trial then the dude is probably guilty anyway because innocent people don't need trials. Problem solved.

thanks man. just really don't want to be a part of that mess. and don't want to put my kid out either. we both work a lot and plan stuff as family trips and activities during the summer months. save my vacation days all winter to use up during the summer. this would blow. not to mention the daycare part expense

I am confused why john higgins wants to be left alone but keeps doing media interviews. Why keep drawing attention to yourself?

He also said you can't take this stuff personal or else you shouldn't be a referee...

Soooo, I think he needs to retire.

It's absolutely astounding to that see that NCAA doesn't realize how bad the college game is getting due to incompetent reffing.

It's an easy fix.

1. You make them full time. Routine training and classes. Make sure they are always improving. If they are not bring in younger more competent officials.

2. Hold them accountable for their calls. If 18 year old kids have to meet with the media after a crushing loss then there is no reason why John Higgins can't answer questions on why be t'd up cal or why he didn't call a foul when fox was crushed on a drive. Maybe being a little more scrutinized would make them feel like they aren't so much better than the rest of the world.

3. A series of reviews and punishment. If after a game they receive a less than satisfactory grade they get a verbal warning from the head of officials. If it happens again they are suspended for a set time without pay. If they return from this and still can't do a satisfactory job they are terminated and a new official hired.

I think this would clear up ****** officiating we have seen in all of college basketball.

The refs are one problem, the biggest problem is the NCAA. For one, they change the rules every damn year. This "point of emphasis" stuff has never made sense to me, it changes the rules, and confuses people. The block/charge stuff is total bs. They've changed, emphasized and morphed that thing into where basically anything can be a charge. Your feet don't even have to be set to take a charge. If the offensive makes contact with you, you can a) be called for a foul or b) fall down and hope it's called a charge.

That's just the tip of a very huge pile of goose **** called the NCAA. I don't want to talk about it. F them.

We should openly pay our players.

1. It's the right thing to do. This is not amateur ball.
2. Dare the NCAA to do something
3. We can just join the D League, or something. Start the first semi-pro where all the best young talent can come prepare themselves for the big league.
4. F NCAA

The ncaa is the main problem correct. The point of emphasis is never consistent. Freedom of movement was suppose to be a big point of emphasis this year, sure as hell didn't emphasize it against unc.

I keep hearing about how officials are graded after every game. Make that **** public.

Local sports radio show ran the Higgin bs while I was driving home. We need better journalists. They all just regurgitate the same **** as everyone else. Do the math. 25000 contacts in 9 days. That's 116 contacts an hour for 9 days. 2 every minute. Now apply your God given brain to see if that even makes sense.

F Higgins and the rest of those guys. I'm surprised none of them have gotten beaten up before this.

Normally a pair of soft-spoken gentlemen, they held nothing back, especially when Willis discussed college officiating: “It’s horrible. All refs suck and they know it. They’re all bad.” You can’t miss tonight’s episode.

Lmao hell yea Derek.

It's Friday I'm drinking beer at some point this weekend while watching my 1 month old.

So Trump is bastard for bombing Syria cause Assad killed children? Am I understanding that correctly.o_O
