Yo, hold up, don't jump on me, you got the wrong one. I didn't mean that negatively, I meant that what GhostVol posted was WAY WORSE than ANYTHING Spears ever posted, so why no snitching on him? I don't know why y'all feel the need to attack me, I rarely post, mainly lurk.

i'm not piling on. i'm not attacking you. most of what i post is nonsense. it's a message board that i don't take serious. i never read the D. it's boring as all f***ing get out. so i never saw the post.

Leaving Spears out of this for a sec, so you're saying Ghost should be potentially punished at work for THINKING evil thoughts? He didn't (I hope) act on anything.

The most egregious thing this board has ever witnessed was the cowardly act the SNITCH did by ratting to someone's workplace about a message board where folks post about anything.

So - what I'm getting at is, let's not use this forum as thought police no matter how vile the thought is... If Ghost ever shows back up, you can believe he'll get run. The Paddock never forgets.

Baseball polices itself. There's some speedball's waiting for him...

The SNITCH however still lurks and should be beaten severely.

Showing off the new jewelry.

I hope this was a trick. I hope they handed em out, then Bunchy went around to every player stunting with their losing rings on and stuck it way up inside their colon somewhere.

I love my team, but this is ridiculous.

No big deal. While I also think it is dumb and "everyone gets a trophy-ish"…just about every team that goes to a bowl does the exact same thing. Doesn't make it right…but its a fact.

This kind of thing made much more sense back in the day when there were like 10 bowl games each season. But now that there are 110 bowls each season…they should stop doing it…especially when you lose the bowl game.

"“Our players — we have bowl games and we have money allotted to bowl games so they can get what they want,” Stoops said. “I could care less what they get. They want a ring? We’ll get a ring. They want a t-shirt, we’ll get a t-shirt. They want a sweatsuit? We’ll get that. That’s for those guys to decide. So, I really don’t give a crap what anybody else says.

Yeah well…it doesn't matter how you try to defend the reasoning…buying rings for a team that goes to a ****** bowl game and then proceeds to lose that ****** bowl game is just wrong and is very "everyone gets a trophy-ish". Especially since there are 40 bowl games. FORTY!!! So congrats, football Cats, congrats on finishing somewhere between 41st and 80th in college football…here's your ring. smh

Guess what? All those little kids playing soccer this past season that played on Team-Unicorn in the New Johnsonville Township's We Don't Assume Gender And We Don't Keep Score And Everyone's A Winner Co-Ed / All-Genders Welcome Intramural League went 0-12 but still got the same trophy as the team that went 12-0. Why? Because they wanted one. And they don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. And because it was in the league budget…because the parents had to pay $100 to watch Little Johnny pick his nose and watch butterflies while standing on a soccer field for an hour every Saturday for two months. And mostly because this effing world has gone completely mad.

Work hard. Accomplish something. Earn something. Get something in return. Real World truth right there.

Suck at something…you don't get jack shite. Just the way the real world works. The sooner little Jonny Nose Picker learns that…the better off he will be in the long run. TRUTH.

Riddle me this…what kind of trophy does the kid who finished last in the Spelling Bee get? What about the kid who finishes 5th? Hint: they both got the same thing…jack shite.

In HS, the valedictorian and salutatorian winners both get medals. What does the kid who finishes 3rd in a class of 350 students get? What about the dumbass kid who finishes 350th? I'll tell you what they both get…jack shite…that's what.

What did you get the last time you came in 2nd place in a job interview? JACK SHITE!!!

Coffee is for closers. Rings and trophies are for winners.

Meh. They get money for gifts because they played well enough to make a bowl. If they have to use it for gifts, might as well be a ring. Sounds like the kids get to choose anyway. No one is making the school give them a ring.

What does the kid who finishes 3rd in a class of 350 students get?
Probably a pretty nice college scholarship. That's a pretty impressive accomplishment at most schools.

Regarding rings - you don't want to be the only school that isn't getting their players a $2500 bowl ring that they can eventually sell for $1000. Fall behind in recruiting that way. That is a somewhat serious opinion.

(Somewhat seriously) I would loooove to meet the numbskull that would give someone good money for a KY bowl ring.

True. Very true.

But they still don't get to give a speech on stage at graduation. And they certainly don't get a medal…or a trophy…or a ring. Now do they?

Allow me to retort…

How about you stand out by being the football program that says, "Damn straight we don't buy rings for losing a ****** bowl game. We will buy those rings when we WIN a bowl game. And we will buy even nicer rings when we WIN one of the Big Six bowl games."

Maybe things have changed, cause I didn't get Jack Shite for being salutatorian at my school.
