whew. hate to bring the mood down but ole well. my wife lost her mom last week. heart attack in her sleep. she is a hot mess. telling your 8 yr old the news another one of things that makes being an adult not so fun. find out a lot about family during this. and most of them suck.

I lost my mom to the same thing 8 years ago. She had some conditions. Found out a lot about my family too as it related to inheritance for my grandmother who was also in poor health. My mom out of the picture meant, to them, more stuff. Heartless and awful. Changed everything in terms of family dynamic. But the friends/acquaintances that showed up for my mom during that time and afterward, shew. Lose faith in humanity...restore faith in humanity. Hope you have the same in that regard.

My deepest condolences to those who have lost love ones recently to cancer or others issues. Just lost a colleague of two years to cancer. Terrible situation, to top that off another colleague of mine whonim closer to is now fighting it as well. Such a ****** disease
