@funKYcat75

Following is a list of really stupid 80's comedy movies that your wife would never watch but I consider must watch classics...if for no other reason than the fact that 75% of my vocabulary stems from such 80's classic films. Not sure how they will translate as a "first watch" in 2017 though.

Good Luck in your endeavor...

Better Off Dead (see quote below)
Odd Jobs
Big Trouble in Little China
Real Genius
Raising Arizona

Will have to check out a few of those. I've seen the last two.

Gotta kill time until old kid leaves a party at 11:00 ...

No politics, but I really wanted to like this Kushner guy. Seemed like a cool guy, super hot and smart wife. Trying to set up a secret direct line to the Russians behind everyone's back is a supervillain kind of move. No dice. Politics is sleazy enough already ... smh

Singing in the morning. Get to 'lead' worship. I don't like talking in front of people, but will sing. Hope urrbody is ready to sing.

Wildcats base/softball imploding in the last two days. Oh well. Was a nice distraction.

Stay classy, y'all.

Coming To America is probably one of my favorites. Quotable and still hilarious.

Eddie was on fire in the 80's.

Coming to America
Trading Places
48 Hours
Delirious
Raw
Beverly Hills Cop
Harlem Nights (not great but had its moments)

That's a stellar lineup right there. Golden Child was the black sheep of Eddie's run in the 80's.

Yes.

It's sexually enswadled in a cooler, under towels exuding a fragrance of love through out the household. Guests coming at 2... Tomorrow. Pork. Brisket. Burgs pattied-done. Effing exhausted.

Slicing show begins at 4:00.

Ironically, I have eaten nothing today since waking at 4:30. Many espresso shots though.

Sounds awesome! Might just fly in for the slicing show, eat some grub and then fly back to the beach house. You got a helipad?

Funk...

Charlie Kushner, Jared's dad, used to be a client of mine... While he was in JAIL.

Look it up. Dude extorted his BIL or some **** with whores and drugs. All the while, being this super-Jew religious guy donating millions to Jewish charities and education.

NYC developers are ALL scumbags. Billion dollar mafiosi.

Well that stinks. Sometimes I just choose to be naïve about stuff like that.

Gonna attempt pulled pork in the smoker tomorrow. I did some last fall and it came out good.

Watched my neighbor across the street trim her bush today.
I couldn't eat that and pu$$y the rest of my life and be a happy man. Hell if I wanted some extra flavor I could just go the Willy route

@Kooky Kats you ever have any dealings with Trump before he became POTUS?
Me personally? No.

However, my buddy worked for Costas Kondylis who was architect for most of the Trump NYC towers. Costas is the most prolific architect you've never heard about... A developer's best friend.
Costas has over 85 buildings (big ones) in NY. Cheap, indiscriminate, unheroic fillers in the urban grid.

In any case, Trump (reportedly) is just like every other old school NYC developer... Brutal, demanding, lives in gray-areas of defending Code/Zoning/Ethics...

The difference with Trump, if you were one of his guys- he was unbelievably loyal. He used Costas to a fault. Costas got sick (Parkinson's), his business fell apart (partners left and formed Goldstein, Hill & West) and Trump personally came to his aid on several occasions.

It was the simple fact my buddy worked for Costas that he got the job at the Trump Organization. Of which, is basically no more.

[It's amazing how much personal assets Trump threw away to be #POTUS. It's staggering.]

Also, Trump called my current boss and discussed a proposal for services for a new golf clubhouse. Trump said he wanted the firm to have the work, but said our fee should be HALF, because of the PR wind fall by mere association to the Trump brand.

Last story... When I worked on 28th Street, my office was on 16th floor. Certain floors had modeling agencies, audio studios, all others were weird... A dingy cigarette smoke-filled pit office with a strange name. On many occasions, the most smoking hot woman on the planet, famous actors and weirdos would be on the elevator with you.
Turns out, the gross cigarette-smoke office was of Der Scutt. The architect of Trump Tower...And that's about it. Trump doesn't want heroic buildings, he figures his BRAND usurps all things important.

Big local story from prolly 20 years ago where his limo blew a flat driving back from AC. A dude came to assist and change tire. Trump, in gratitude, secretly paid-off the guys mortgage. <---- this I guarantee you NO other NYC developer would EVER do.
