this heat is nuts. i go to let the dogs out this afternoon and they hit the edge of the door when the heat them and they just stop and look at me like wtf dude, I ain't going out in that. our biggest, and he isn't all that big, 55 pound mut just lays on the a.c. vents. i don't blame them, i went from a.c. in the house to a.c. in the truck as quick as possible to sitting at my desk with a big *** fan blowing on me.

I wasn't aware that Dire Straits weren't in the HOF. They should be. I agree that the RnR HOF is a joke. 'Tis why I don't really keep up with who is in and who isn't.
In fact, all HOF's are jokes. Sports writers control who gets the nod in the sports world. WTF? Are you effing kidding me? How stupid is that? All they do is hold grudges against certain players. I think TO is a rotten teammate and general all around rotten human being. But he is a first ballot NFL HOF'er if there ever was one. Absolutely ridiculous. The numbers don't lie.
This solo alone should knock Joan Jett, Steve Miller and Tictac out of the HOF.

I saw Joan Jett 2x in concert. Once at Murray State in 1982 before deploying to the desert. 2nd time in 1983 at some obscure bar in Wappinger Falls, NY.

I looked up some stuff about the RnR HoF. The voting is done by 900 or so music writers & critics. The nominees are pickled by a group of 4-5 that have monetary interest in the HoF. No doubt that some important rockers have been left out in favor of those that could sell more tickets.
