Roll the dice and bring in Travis Chapman. Or go get Schlossnagle. TX is too soft at everything to win a championship. Or Vitello and let’s flip some bats.

1. Brian O’Conner - if we can pull it off this is best case scenario
2. Will Coggin - my top assistant candidate

O’Sullivan.
Am I the only one who recalls this little bltch's antics in a (can't remember the year) UF Super Regional?

He walked in front of our dugout & did that lame chomp shlt to State fans, sitting behind it after they won.

My mother was so upset she sent an email to Stricklin bemoaning Cohen's language as he put that "lips & mouth can't close over my teeth" little person in his place.

He also lost his shlt that same series when his first baseman ran into our 1B coach on a pop foul (might've been Mingione?).

That was a long time ago. I don't think we are hiring him, but if Selmon could, he'd be crazy to let the above stop him.

I don’t recall that specific incident with O’Sullivan. I do remember the thing with what looked a lot like our coach tripping one of their players, and in my mind that was Mingione.
O’Sullivan is not super high on a list of people I care for. Strikes me as a cocky a-hole. But he’s a damn good baseball coach. And if we hired him he’d be our cocky a-hole. He’s on a short list of people I think it would be worth paying absolute top dollar for.
I don’t think he’s a realistic candidate, but of the pie-in-the-sky choices, he’s one I could see at least considering making the move. It’s remotely feasible.

That was on Mingione. Believe he was on 3rd. He very intentionally didn't get out of the way. It was bush league.

Mingione always seems to be involved in some nonsense like that.

Hire a coach with fire who demands excellence on the field and is a great recruiter. The program should take care of the rest to win big.

1. Bakich or Jarret.
2. Schloss. I'd like to see what might've been if Cohen hadn't screwed it up.
3. Mingione (very disappointed)

I can't stand O'Sullivan and don't want him because I will not support him.

That’s your right. Those of us who want what’s best for the program more than we want a likable coach will cheer for him.

I mean we won’t because it’s highly, highly unlikely to happen. But hypothetically speaking we would.

For the record, I'm pro *******. I just despise that one guy.
