Every experience I've had has been bad. You pay ridiculous cover to come in and watch 15 EMCC students play pool or throw darts with no other entertainment because it's after midnight. I had to literally track someone down to pay my tab the last time I was there because I hadn't heard from or seen a waitress in almost an hour (they do a good job of taking your credit card, though). Not to mention all the smokers in there at night. The Starkville smoking ban was a great thing for the city.
It has more potential than any other bar in Starkville because of some of the perks they have just by being in the Highlands and not in town, but their reputation when I was in school was not good at all because of service/bouncers/cover/terrible food/fights in the bathrooms and parking lot, etc. this incident certainly didn't help their cause, not because they didn't let Boobie in, but because an establishment tweeted the **** they did at a paying customer. Just for comparison's sake, I tweeted at Dave's about the service legitimately being poor one night a few years ago and I got a free pizza out of the deal and an apology on twitter.
