But yeah, I agree, counter productive to good racing. I say they remove the restrictor plates, and slightly lower the banking. Just enough for handling to come into effect so they can't run wide open all the way around. If they don't want to have big wrecks, they need to do something to get rid of the big packs. I'm interested to see 1. how consistently they enforce someone bump drafting in the corners, and 2. how big of a wreck it causes when the first person penalized tries to cut out of the pack to serve the penalty.

Well good. Ryan Newman shows NASCAR went completely in the wrong direction with trying to fix this.

I like your idea.

They could also stang to make the roof flaps bigger (and probably stronger) to keep cars from flipping after they turn around.

watered down the racing in on the super speedways and created all these 180 mph tracks that are about as exciting as watching bread go stale. The only excitement is 10 laps out of the entire race when you get to see some schmuck that was stuck in the back of the pack win because the guys who finally tried to race all wrecked together in the next to last lap.
