You do know that those morons removed 3.000+ seats from Rupp Right? Despite Kentucky being the #1 program, with the largest and most passionate fanbase and constantly leading the country in attendance. Some ***** in a suit looked at the plans, saw that Kentucky will have less seats than UNC, Tennessee and UofL and said "Where do I sign?" Having the largest arena in all of basketball was something we took pride in and they took that from us and watered it down.

Ky needed a Pf after losing Caleb Wilson ….Jelavic and Diabate are significantly better at Pf then Ament. Ament is really a wing..and isn’t ready to play Pf in college. And since he’s likely to NBA…Pope was wise to not waste time with him…Cal would have gotten him snd we see him struggle all year and then to NBA

Popes offense would be so much better with a stretch 4, and I think Ament would’ve been great in that role.

Ament is a much better 3 or 2. He's got legit length and the skills to play either position. Putting him at the 4 takes away the most elite aspects of his skill set. In the SEC there is a tendency for the 4 and 5 to get caught up and held in traffic. The entire freedom of movement concept went out the window and it is a rock fight in the lane most plays.

“If” we’d of gotten Ament and Gillespie instead of JQ and Lowe, we’d be right there with ‘Zona and Michigan as the dominant teams in CBB. Ament is a tremendous talent and at 6’10” is a perfect pro. I know this is a massively deep draft, but any teams that pass on him will likely regret it. He’s going to be a multi year all star.

But sitting on those bleacher seats sucked. I scaled back my trips to Rupp because it just wasn’t enjoyable to bring the family on a 6 hour round trip to have some overweight person taking way more than their seat and the people behind you kneeing you in the back.

I am no fan of Barnhart (understatement) but those upgrades were needed.
