---Questions on Blades & Watts. The longer it goes on the worse it looks for both of them, but what he knows now is there is still a decent chance both of them make it to campus, specially Blades. He believes Blades could be on campus at the very latest by the time school starts. Quite possibly even before the start of Fall Camp. Both are still waiting on their test scores. Both have taken the ACT & SAT multiple times. He believes Blades at worst would be some sort of partial qualifier. Which means he would have to sit out this year as a RS. Nate is fairly confident that is the worst case for Blades. Thus he would be on campus but could not play for a year. Thus, an Academic Red Shirt. Which Nate believes would not be a terrible scenario as it would give him a year to get academically acclimated. Not ot mention he could learn from Jones, Jackson and Kalu.

---Would it surprise Nate if Micah Parsons were a silent commit anywhere as he keeps things really close ot the vest? Nate thinks he has narrowed his scope from the seven schools he considered wit that being said he would be surprised if he was a silent commit to any school. With that being said, there is no doubt a bout it that the visit to FNL really opened up his eyes. Nebraska will get an OV from him. That speaks volumes to what Nebraska did when he visited for FNL. Tough thing for NU is he will be visiting Ohio State this weekend for there FNL Camp and will take an OV to Columbus too. Lot of work still to do but Nebraska has moved up the pecking order. Ohio St definitely has us on current prestige and maybe a few other areas. But Parsons definitely seems like a 3-4 OLB and not a 4-3 DE, and that benefits us.

Well, he can do either, but yeah I feel he's too dynamic to not be a 3-4 OLB IMHO.

Wherever he goes, and whatever position he plays, he's going to be a terror, that's all that is certain about Parsons.

IIRC, Parson's said during an interview at The Opening, he sees himself playing in a 3-4 scheme in college. You would think that bodes well for Nebraska.

Just seems like an unnecessary risk (albeit not to big) to move somebody with that talent to DE and put 20 pounds on him. You want somebody with that talent all over the place. Not saying he can't do that as a OLB in a 4-3, but much more seamless in a 3-4. Pretty much stating an obvious opinion.

I actually think Parsons goes to PSU. If not he will be a Buckeye. Alabama and Florida St will be pushing hard for him as well. Hard to go wrong with any of those schools.

Well you could go to Penn State where the ****** up culture of the entire state would lead them to cover up for a pedophile and then get banned from the post season for a few years...
