Nate Oates would be the coach if we had a common sense AD. One who understands the importance of uk bb to the state of Kentucky. You maxed out Rupp to introduce and tease nostalgia with the pope hire so they know where the money is. I know big donors who lived in Kentucky their entire life and never went to UK. It’s so much more than our athletics department can deal with.

I think Oats would have the same level of success Rick had here. Part recruiting and part style of play that is going to attract top offensive players

Reading my comment I'm going to guess I was talking about Golden's creepy allegations that got swept under the rug. If you're a Golden fan and want him then whatever you say is true. Nate oats was made to be our next coach and was given the cal treatment round 1. When I saw that guy coach Buffalo I thought “this is the dude for Kentucky when cal leaves”. Then as he has had successful seasons even a ff at bama. He’s probably the hungriest active coach. Things have funny way of working out when the guy becomes one of us, then everything the lens the way that we look at the perception. It’s completely different. I mean cal was scum of the Earth to our fan base. At least half of them did not want cal. Then those same people became the ones who didn’t want him to go.
