TCU had 4 weeks to get ready for Michigan.
They needed another month to get ready for Georgia.
I knew Georgia could score a lot, but I cautiously thought TCU might do some scoring of its own.
My 50-30 Georgia prediction was not lopsided enough.

Anyone with a pulse knew alabama was better than TCU. If you asked Georgia who they wanted to play the most of tcu, osu or alabama as the 4 seed they would have picked tcu all day and twice on Sundays.

Georgia will go 15-0 and win the title without having to play Alabama.
At least they beat them last year.
Just said this same thing to the wife. Gave them a better game in Athens last year.
Not saying bama would win but I think with young they would have made it interesting. They really choked big time against tn and lsu. That said, they could have lost to Texas and a and m. Bizarre season for Saban and company.

Plenty of talent and the best coach. Of course Saban wanted a crack at UGA and of course Georgia was thrilled to avoid them.
There are at least 2-3 teams (not named TCU) that are better than Michigan.
Maybe Alabama shouldn't have lost twice. Georgia did beat both teams that beat Alabama. Held Tennessee to 13 points.

It’s Ohio state that shouldn’t have been in. They played THREE ranked teams all year, the best victory being Penn state who is probably a 3-4 loss team in the sec, and got mugged by 20+ at home to end the year vs another.
People and the committee looked at loss column only. And that shouldn’t be the case. I think the 12 team playoff will lead to better championship games. But maybe not as good first round- but 2nd and 3rd going to be awesome.

Ohio state got beat by 24 on their home field by Michigan, they are not better than Michigan. Alabama lost twice, Tennessee couldn’t stop air from scoring, you can hate the big 12, TCU is a good team, and ran into the best team in the nation

So beating a team by 20 plus on their field doesn’t mean anything, OSU would lose to Michigan again, TCU earned the right to be here, they just ran into a buzzsaw
UGA hates giving up TDs but they’ll give up at least another garbage one. Maybe two. UGA will at least score 10-17.
But to help you out: It is a LOCK that the under will hit. ZERO chance this game goes over 61.5!! Mark it down!!

TCU is great when the other team makes boneheaded calls and throws 2 pick 6s.
No one thinks they are better than Alabama. Tcu would have lost 4 games playing alabamas schedule. No one is disputing Alabama should have made the playoff as they choked against tn and lsu.
TCU is still a good team, Georgia is beating every team tonight, bama wasn’t as dominate like they usually are
