Me either, I hear about it from my wife, but the latest gnashing of teeth is about the length of summer vacation.I'm gonna need more information. And I generally don't do the Facebook.
do they want more or less summer break?Me either, I hear about it from my wife, but the latest gnashing of teeth is about the length of summer vacation.
It’s not uncommon for local businesses/schools to be run down on there for shi ts and giggles.
Therein lies the rub.do they want more or less summer break?
***Todd Mardis got himself some time on the computer this morning***We keep our women in line over in Rankin County. They know their place.
Kind of like DST. Half of you like it one way, half of you like it the other, so we are keeping it just the way it is.Therein lies the rub.
Someone should introduce them to the French revolutionary calendar to see if that makes more senseMy wife keeps me updated.
The school calendar has school starting July 31 this year. In years past it has been much later - like August 1, August 2 and gasp August 3. But the Gregorian calendar has our kids starting July 31 this year, so as you know, that is so much earlier than August 1.
The mommas. They are mad.
That is rough. The school district should probably publish their calendar in advance so they're not getting blindsided by the change in July.**My wife keeps me updated.

It was published three years in advance. They are just now realizing it I guess. That is rough. The school district should probably publish their calendar in advance so they're not getting blindsided by the change in July.**
Just pulled that bad boy up on the wiki, looks line a fun lunchtime read. Good lookin' out.Someone should introduce them to the French revolutionary calendar to see if that makes more sense
As a avid follower of all things French Revolution, the calendar is one of the most interesting things tried in modern world history.Just pulled that bad boy up on the wiki, looks line a fun lunchtime read. Good lookin' out.
What a great way to cover up when you missed an event or were late for something. "Still getting used to this new time, sorry!"As a avid follower of all things French Revolution, the calendar is one of the most interesting things tried in modern world history.
Imagine one country going to a calendar that looks like this:
12 30 day months, divided into three 10 day "weeks"
At the end of the year, there would be 5 or 6 "makeup days"
Every day had 10 hours, with 100 minutes that had 100 seconds.
Tell them it's not the size of the vacation but how you use it.do they want more or less summer break?
Damn, a 3.5 hour college football game would feel like an all day affair with this calendar! As a avid follower of all things French Revolution, the calendar is one of the most interesting things tried in modern world history.

Like all things associated with the French Revolution, that sounds perfectly reasonable. As a avid follower of all things French Revolution, the calendar is one of the most interesting things tried in modern world history.

Ordinarily I wouldn't log in to any social media platforms, but then I would be missing all the great advice like this!! **I live outside of the social media metaverse. I don’t know or care what you all are talking about. Everyone should give it a try.
You and I live in the same neighborhood then, I have heard they’re not crazy about the helicopters that sporadically fly around MBO though. Love the people that live next to an airport and ***** about aircraftI live outside of the social media metaverse. I don’t know or care what you all are talking about. Everyone should give it a try.
Probably just another device invented for the French to avoid work. Don’t know if any of you deal with companies based in France but those 17ers are NEVER in the office. They have more time off than college professors. As a avid follower of all things French Revolution, the calendar is one of the most interesting things tried in modern world history.

You can tell that a country that really likes soccer came up with that idea. 5 or 6 make up days is like the arbitrary stoppage time added on at the end.As a avid follower of all things French Revolution, the calendar is one of the most interesting things tried in modern world history.

Terrible comparison.***Todd Mardis got himself some time on the computer this morning***
I'm assuming in this scenario a second to them wouldn't be a second to us. Like their 1 second would be 0.86 seconds to us. Or their 1 hour would be like 2.4 hours to us.As a avid follower of all things French Revolution, the calendar is one of the most interesting things tried in modern world history.

Ha. The five or six days at the end of the year were meant to be a big party!I'm assuming in this scenario a second to them wouldn't be a second to us. Like their 1 second would be 0.86 seconds to us. Or their 1 hour would be like 2.4 hours to us.
Seems like a French thing to do.
Let me guess. They only wanted to work 2 hrs a day and 180 days a year? Really not much different than what they do now.
